S3 Partners offers financial data on Snowflake Platform

Fintech and data analytics firm S3 Partners is now offering its data and analytics solutions on the Snowflake Data Marketplace.

The Snowflake Data Marketplace gives data scientists, business intelligence and analytics professionals access to live and ready-to-query data.

S3 Partners' new offering is part of its ongoing initiative to reach its clients everywhere they work and will provide access to S3's data customers who deploy the Snowflake Cloud Data Platform.

Snowflake customers will be able to access S3 Partner’s ‘short interest and securities finance data’ data set.

S3 Partners explained this data is leveraged to understand how clients use S3’s unique real-time data for global securities to construct better portfolios, manage risk, and improve trade execution strategies.

Bob Sloan, managing partner of S3 Partners, said: "S3 Partners continues to look for ways to better serve our clients and improve access to the highest quality data in the market.”

Sloan commented: "The Snowflake Data Marketplace further expands our reach and offers yet another way for our customers to utilise our technology and data platform.

Matt Glickman, vice president of customer product strategy at Snowflake, said: "Snowflake Data Marketplace, built on top of Snowflake's Secure Data Sharing technology, delivers an easy-to-use platform for organisations to find, share, and list content."

"Organisations can now leverage unique short interest data from S3 Partners alongside more than 100 other data providers on Snowflake Data Marketplace. The real-time nature of S3's short interest data sets them apart from traditional data providers,” added Glickman.
